Creative Ways to Support Our Mission
Please contact Board Secretary Shawn Dooley if you would like assistance with all of the following ways to support Interfaith at smd1159@hotmail.com
Is Thrivent your financial advisor?
Through their Thrivent Choice program, you are allocated funds to be given to good causes (at no cost to you). Please recommend that Thrivent direct your share of charitable donations to Interfaith Coalition.
Donate a Vehicle
Donate your car, trucks, RV, boat, or motorcycle in any condition and 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to further our mission! Simply fill out the Charity Cars form for Interfaith Coalition and you’re on your way!
Donate through Fred Meyer Community Rewards
Fred Meyer Community Rewards is an easy way to donate to Interfaith Coalition simply by shopping with your Rewards Card. At your online Fred Meyer account, link your Rewards card to Interfaith Coalition or inquire at Customer Service in a store. You still get all your Rewards points, fuel points, and rebates yourself, but you’re directing Fred Meyer’s corporate donation to help Whatcom families experiencing homelessness, at no cost to you.
Leave a legacy that will make a difference for years
Consider naming Interfaith Coalition of Whatcom County as a beneficiary in your will. Even a small line item bequest to Interfaith Coalition is a powerful way to put your values into action. The commitment of your donation remains as a reminder of your values for children and generations to come.
Contribute to the Interfaith Endowment Fund
Contributing to the Interfaith Endowment Fund allows your tax-deductible gift to be invested and multiplied via a professionally-managed account, creating a source of income that will continue caring for our neighbors in need into the future. The fund is permanent and the principal is never touched, so the legacy of support for Interfaith’s work will carry forward in perpetuity and influence future generations in the family.
Donate Stocks, Bonds, or other Investments
Double the benefit you receive when you donate stocks, bonds, IRA distributions, or mutual funds to Interfaith. When you give appreciated securities to Interfaith, you don’t pay tax on your earnings, and you take the full amount of the sale as a tax-deductible donation. Contact your tax advisor about how to donate.
Know someone who is going to buy or sell a house?
Use the local realtor 2roofs. Every sale through this local company helps homeless families. One roof can help build another.
